We are looking for an experienced dental professional to join us as a Practice Manager.
About the practice and the role:

We are a family oriented dental practice with lovely staff and team of dentists and hygienists. Only one practice to manage, no need to run
around different branches and only a handful of staff to manage.

Duties include: staff management, stock control, ordering, practice compliance and protocols, patient recalls,
payment collection, staff roster and monthly meetings, marketing, ensuring practice is compliant with statutory regulations.
- Day to day running of practice
- Practice protocols, compliance, maintenance, management, recruitment.
- Training and supervision of administrative and clinical staff (DAs)
- Liaises with ACC, Ministry of Health, insurance companies and third parties
- Optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization
- Protects patients, staff and business confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
- Patient recall, reactivation and reporting
- Knowledge of Human Resources and Health & Safety in dental practice
- Ensures accounts are managed accurately and efficiently, follow up on overdue accounts and late payments
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting any needed changes
- Updates staff records, performance management, developing employee rosters, and conducts regular staff meetings
- General and local area marketing and promotions, and monitors business growth and data analysis
- Interacts with patients and addressing any concerns or complaints
- Works as a team to ensure the practice runs efficiently, effectively and meets objectives
- Maintains facility and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations
- Committed to a long term role
- Can use Exact software
- Fill in for DA/Reception on ad hoc basis
- Remuneration is based on experience
About you:
- You'll have worked in a New Zealand dental practice before, possibly as a dental assistant or receptionist
- Knowledge of dental industry - both clinical and non-clinical
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys being part of a collaborative team
