Modern practice searching for an experienced dentist to joining them in May 2026 for a locum role

About the practice and the role:

• Full time (9 day fortnight), to be negotiated
• Start date: May 2026
• Duration: 6-8 months
• Great team made up of dentists, dental assistants, and hygienists 
• Offering patients general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry
• Well established practice with modern equipment including CBCT, intra/oral scanner, and surgical motor, with further improvements planned
• Owners are happy to support you to advance your skill set
• Multi-chair practice with healthy books and constantly growing patient numbers
• Remuneration: market rate based on experience and skills

About you:

• 2+ Years similar clinical experience, though a recent graduate would also be considered
• Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of general dentistry
• Confident planning and discussing treatment plans with patients
• Approachable with excellent communication skills
• Highly developed and great interpersonal skills
• Enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment

Porirua is only 20 minutes from Wellington and is a vibrant city experiencing growth with new developments in the area. It has a beautiful harbour, estuary, parks and offers a great work/life balance. The harbour is a popular spot for wind surfing, waterskiing and jet skiing.
