Friendly practice in Tauranga looking for an experienced dentist to join their team.

About the practice and the role:

• Starting in November 1 day a week (Fridays) and progressing to 3-4 days a week from December - negotiable
• Locum role would be 4 November - 22 December 2022
• Permanent role would continue after the Christmas shutdown period from 3 January 2023
• Hours are 8.30am to 5pm - again negotiable
• Remuneration: 40% commission
• Strong general dentistry skills
• Confident and comfortable working as a sole practitioner
• Two chair general dentistry practice with focus on restorative and family dentistry
• Supported by a practice manager, dental assistant and oral health therapist

About you:

• 2+ years clinical experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of general dentistry
• Be passionate about providing exceptional patient care
• Confident planning and discussing treatment plans with patients
• Approachable, friendly and professional
• Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
• Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.
