Friendly practice in Tauranga looking for an experienced dentist to temporarily join their team.

About the practice and the role:

April to August 2024
Full time (Monday to Thursday)
Hours are 8.30am to 5pm
Remuneration: 40% commission
Strong general dentistry skills
Confident and comfortable working as a sole practitioner
Two chair general dentistry practice with focus on restorative and family dentistry
Equipment includes: rotary endo, with an OPG being installed early in 2024
Supported by a practice manager, dental assistant and oral health therapist
Travel and accommodation support to be negotiated for the right candidate
This role could become permanent after the locum role finishes.

About you:

2+ years clinical experience in a similar role
Knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of general dentistry
Comfortable being a sole practitioner
Be passionate about providing exceptional patient care
Confident planning and discussing treatment plans with patients
Approachable, friendly and professional
Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.
