The Opportunity
There’s a lot to do in this lead role. This is a busy, successful practice where you’ll be providing exceptional general dentistry services coupled with exceptional patient care.

The practice runs extremely well, and you will be supported by a highly experienced team. It has five treatment rooms, OASIS software, digital (phosphor plate) x-rays, and intraoral cameras in all rooms. And you’ll be able to play an active part in leading the team and enjoy mentoring and passing on your knowledge to our less experienced team members. You’ll understand that being a Lead Dentist isn’t an easy role,  but you’ll be up for the challenge and know that you will have  support and backing behind you. Ideally we are looking for someone that can commit to a full time role however would also consider part-time applicants.

About You
We're looking for either an experienced lead or a seasoned associate dentist who is keen to take the next step in their career to join this cohesive, tight-knit team. You will already have well-rounded general dentistry skills that allow you to work with sovereignty and efficiency. In addition to providing the range of general dental treatments, we'd love to support you in providing more advanced treatments in the fields of Ortho, Endo and Perio.

The practice culture is extremely important and the successful applicant will be able to integrate well into the team. There is a good flow of regular returning patients, the ability to build successful patient relationships and provide excellent care is valued highly.

The practice is in a great spot nestled in the heart of Invermay in the riverside city of Launceston. Well known for breathtaking scenery, walking trials and outdoor pursuits, it’s a great place to explore if you’re the outdoors type. Tasmania is busting with festivals, sensational food and drink, not to mention the exquisite scenery and it has something to offer for everybody.  

What We’re Looking For In Our NEW Lead Dentist: 
Your dentistry skills are polished, and at a high industry standard; interests in Ortho, Perio and Endo considered favourably

• You have a current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
• You’re an articulate communicator, and you're someone who has the innate ability to build rapport and trust quickly with your patients
• Work well as part of a team and enjoy friendly practice culture
• You’re a confident leader with high levels of EQ and a proven track record of success in a similar role 
• You are committed to providing outstanding patient-led service.
