Our client is searching for a dental assistant to join their growing practice in Porirua.
About the practice and the role:
- Full time Monday to Friday
- Starting early 2022 or as soon as possible
- Busy practice with full books and growing patient numbers
- Experienced team of dental professionals made up of dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, receptionist and practice manager
- Offering patients general, cosmetic, orthodontic, and restorative dentistry
- Well established practice with modern equipment and further improvements in the near future.
About you:
- Prefer a minimum 12 months experience in dental assisting, but will consider no experience if you tick most of the other boxes!
- A proficient knowledge of current dental materials and equipment
- Contemporary knowledge of infection control
- Ability to follow policies and instructions
- Be a quick learner, motivated and focused
- Customer service focus
- Friendly and approachable
- Good communication skills and warm interpersonal skills
- Organised with attention to detail
- Thrives in a fast paced environment and able to monitor work flow and meet busy schedule
