About the role:
- Key team member for greeting patients and answering patient enquiries
- Scheduling appointments, managing the appointment book to support efficient use of time
- Some Dental Assistant duties on an ad hoc basis to help with leave coverage - training to be provided
- Collecting payments, monitoring accounts and supporting clinicians to ensure treatment is booked and carried out
- Displays empathy and appreciates the importance of confidentiality
- Ensuring that payments are collected from third parties such as ACC
- Ordering office supplies
- Great team made up of dentists, dental assistants, and hygienists
- Offering patients general, cosmetic, orthodontic, and restorative dentistry
- Well established practice with modern equipment and further improvements in the future
- Fun work environment
- This can be a full time, part time permanent or fixed term role - depending on the candidate
About you:
- Positive attitude and embraces improvement
- Experience with Exact dental software, and MS Office
- Dental Assistant experience a bonus
- Able to prioritize and deal with interruptions
- Flexibility in hours is preferred. Typically a full time Monday-Friday role, but we're open to part time for the right person
- Supportive to our clinicians and the team
