About the practice and the role:

• Part time: 2-3days per week- with potential further days in the future
• General, cosmetic, paediatric and emergency practice in Lower Hutt
• One hour hygiene appointments as the usual standard
• Opportunity to provide whitening treatments and children's care
• Support for new graduates
  
• Equipment includes: iTero scanner in each room, digital x-rays, with new dental chairs
• Experienced team of friendly and knowledgeable dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and receptionists
• Long standing patients with a strong recall culture
• Potential development into orthodontic auxiliary work
• Remuneration: Based on experience, with a starting hourly rate of $50-$65

About you:

• Any level of experience considered, new grad or more experienced
• Passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care
• Confident in, or keen to develop, contemporary periodontal and preventive care
• Gentle in the chair and able to reassure anxious or embarrassed patients
• Clear in communication and non-judgemental in approach
• Willing to recommend care because it is clinically appropriate, not because of pressure to upsell
• Interested in building long-term patient relationships
• Able to work independently while collaborating with dentists and the wider team
• Reliable, thoughtful and committed to high clinical standards
• An engaging personality, with personal integrity
