Receptionist/Dental Assistant - Hamilton

We're looking for a friendly, engaging and caring person to join this team in Hamilton

About the practice and the role:

• Receptionist role, that is happy to cover for Dental Assistant on an ad hoc basis
• Well established practice with 3 highly experienced dentists
• Offering patients general dentistry including implants, endodontics, oral surgery, Invisalign, cosmetic and injectables.
• Monday to Friday 38 hours per week
• Remuneration dependent on experience
• Responsibilities include:

• answering phone
• responding to emails
• patient recalls
• meeting patients
• booking appointments
• taking payments
• handling cash
• maintaining patient records
• Use of Dental for Windows

About you:

• Previous experience in a dental or medical practice is preferred, but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be a 'people person'
• Proactive with a 'can-do' attitude
• Experience of Windows software is highly beneficial
• Friendly, kind and caring nature
• Strong work ethic
• Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
• Have customer service experience
• Ability to multitask
