Laboratory Manager - Auckland

Our client is searching for an experienced dental lab manager. 

About the lab and the role:

• Locally operated dental lab servicing NZ
• Specialising in the fabrication of dental prosthetics, implants, ceramics, crowns and bridges
• Advanced technology and modern facilities
• Reports to and supports the General Manager
• Full time
• Managing a team of technicians and auxiliary staff
• Coordinate and direct quality control procedures
• Plan productivity - output quality, quantity, costs, time and labour requirements
• Work closely with other team managers
• Ensure all equipment is well maintained

About you:

• 3+ years’ experience working in a similar role
• Previous experience working within the medical or dental industry would be beneficial
• Registered Dental Technician would be desirable
• Advanced technical skills and knowledge across ceramics, implants and CADCAM is advantageous  
• Experience and ability to manage, develop, lead and support a team
• Well spoken and professional
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure
• Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
• Strong problem solving skills
• Innovative, flexible and adaptable
• Strong attention to detail
