Dentist - Eltham, Taranaki

This busy rural practice needs a locum dentist to help out for a while.

About the practice and the role:

• Full time up to 4.5 days a week, flexible on days/hours
• Non-digital rural general practice that offers full range of dental treatments to patients
• Experienced team consists of dentists, dental assistants, practice manager and admin support
• Easy going team and a great place to work
• Only a 40-minute drive from New Plymouth
• Remuneration: starting at 40+% commission (depending on skills and experience) and staff car parking
• Replacing a dentist who is moving overseas - so you'll be busy from the start

About you:

• 2+ Years clinical experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of general dentistry
• Molar endo experience would be beneficial, but not essential
• Confident planning and discussing treatment plans with patients
• Approachable
• Highly developed and great interpersonal skills
• Enjoys working collaboratively within an easy-going team environment

About the region: Eltham is the second largest town in South Taranaki, and the agricultural centre for the district. It's home to Victorian buildings and offers vintage and retro-shopping with several well known shops located in old banks and other historic buildings and it has a weekly Friday market. Cheese is the town’s main claim to fame, producing world-class, award-winning products from the Bridge Street Factory, with the factory shop an absolute must-visit, for locally made gourmet cheese.
