Interesting and good to see many political parties talking about dental care. The increase in the WINZ subsidy would appear to be a simple way to deliver more care to a needy group. Some of the other policies may be more difficult to pull off and I have always felt the free market aspect of dental care in NZ has significant benefits when compared to a nationalised system like the NHS or an insurance based system like the US - though it's still not perfect.
Let's see what actually transpires post the election.
