Orthodontist wanted: New Zealand

New Zealand is an incredibly beautiful country to live and work in, where you’ll find untamed wilderness and plenty of diverse culture. Being the first city in the world to see the sun rise, Gisborne has unspoilt beaches, great surfing and numerous other outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking, hiking and kayaking, as well as boutique wineries and vineyards to explore.

We are searching for a qualified Orthodontist to join this specialist practice in Gisborne.

1. The position
KT Orthodontics is a well established 2 chair practice with an extremely skilled support team who are looking forward to welcoming a qualified full time Orthodontist onboard. The practice has digital treatment planning, an Itero scanner and Orthotrac software. With more than 350+ active & retention patients and 250+ new and prospective patients waiting to start treatment (fixed applicances and Invisalign), your clinical and admin days will be busy. There is plenty of potential to grow and in the future to buy this practice.

2. You
You’ll be an experienced and technically sound Orthodontist who has a positive, professional and approachable attitude. It’s important that you have excellent communciation, listening and interpersonal skills and you’re confident to plan and discuss treatment plans and options with our patients. And of course you're looking for the best work/life balance and the potential to be your own boss in the future.

3. To qualify
To practice in New Zealand as an Orthodontist you’ll need an accredited dental degree and a specialist Orthodontic qualification from an accredited dental school, and also be registered with Dental Council New Zealand and have a current APC. Orthodontists are considered critical health workers and are eligible to come and work in NZ from overseas. You may need professional immigration advice, but we’ll help guide you through the process.




Location:
 Gisborne,  New Zealand
Hours:       Full time. 3+ clinical days
Package:  4 weeks accommodation and care hire, 4 weeks annual leave, sick leave, market rate salary based on experience
