You may have seen my previous messages about Andy Tapper's new foray into the dental profession. Well 'The Dental Group' is now live.
Wanaka Dental and Remarkables Dental Queenstown, were the first two acquisitions at the end of July. This was followed up by Customs St Dentist and three more practices are due to settle once Auckland returns to Level 2. The Dental Group will have 10 physical sites by the end of the year and the plan is for continued growth thereafter.
I am working closely with Andy to help grow this vision. The key difference to other dental groups is the shared ownership model. As dentists, we know how to run practices and have typically done a great job of this over time. We are best placed to be making a majority of the decisions, we know our patients, our staff and what equipment and materials work best in our hands. Andy leaves us to that whilst allowing us to release equity and leverage his commercial and dental profession IP.
We will be sending updates about the progress of The Dental Group from time to time, but if you want to be kept in the loop further click here to be added to Andy's database.
