Wage rate for Accredited Employer Work Visas

There has been a bit of confusion around what you need to pay an employee using an Accredited Employer Work Visa. The median wage tends to change each February, and in 2024 the median wage went up to $31.61. But that doesn't apply to the Accredited Employer Work Visa, which is still at $29.66 per hour.

  • AEWV - job offer must pay a minimum of $29.66 per hour
  • Skilled Migrant/Green List Straight to Residence and Work to Residence visas - job offer must pay at least the minimum current median wage of $31.61 per hour
