Recently I read an article about work perks - and what you need to know to attract candidates to a position.
It seems that flexibility is the key and it's not all about the money!
Some candidates are looking for additional training and courses or mentoring, while others would prefer to have a car included as part of their package. Some practice owners may have a bach or crib that's been sitting empty or unused during Covid - giving staff access to your holiday home could make the difference in filling that vacancy you've had for months.
Currently, we've got more vacancies than we have candidates for jobs. And it seems NZ isn't alone as practices in the UK and Australia are having similar issues.
To help us understand what could make the difference between choosing one position over another we'd like to ask you to take a short survey about "Work Perks".
We appreciate you giving us your time and thoughts and look forward to sharing the results in our next newsletter
and online.
Thanks in advance - Tony
