Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist - South East Auckland 4004870

We're searching for an experienced Dual Scope OHT/Hygienist.

About the practice and the role:

• Part time 1 - 3 days (prefer Wed - Fri) 8.30am - 5pm
• 2 surgery general practice
• Immediate start
• Offering patients hygiene maintenance, exams, prophy, fissure sealants, OHT, and whitening etc.
• Experienced team of dentist, dental assistant, practice manager
• Principal dentist does composite filling for adolescents, instead of OHT
  
• Equipment includes Trios scanner, CADCAM, digital x-rays, i/o camera and ultrasonic scalers and considering an Airflow machine
• Remuneration: 40% commission or $500 per day + car parking
• Located with views to an English garden and trees, with a full kitchen staff area

About you:

• 5+ years of similar clinical experience
• Enthusiastic, gentle and caring person
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment
• Passionate about oral health
• You'll have solid perio understanding, sub gingival debridement and whitening treatments
• Happy to do examinations/x-rays/prophy/OHI/fissure sealants/small pit fillings on children & adolscents (45 minutes)
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable planning and discussing treatment plans with patients
