About the practice and the role:

• Local Charitable Trust
• Four days a week
• Locum duration: 7 months
• Start date: May
• New 1 chair mobile unit
• Supported by a senior dentist (via phone during work hours), a dental assistant and co-ordinator who will manage the bookings
• Location: Based on the Trust grounds where all services are situated (i.e. GP, Social Services, etc.)
• Offering patients general dentistry including, restorations, hygiene, extractions, endo and perio treatments
• This is a community role and is not fee driven
  
• Remuneration in line with the DHB dental surgeon pay scale depending on seniority and experience

About you:

• 2+ Years of similar clinical experience
• Enjoy working in a rural town and being part of the community
• Be passionate about providing exceptional patient care
• Comfortable planning and discussing treatment plans with patients
• Knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of general dentistry
• Comfortable and confident handling complex surgical extractions and pain relief
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work as part of a small close knit team
