This practice is searching for an experienced dentist to help out for a month or so.
About the practice and the role:
- General dental practice
- Part time = 20 hours per week
- Sole practitioner
- Dates to be confirmed, but hopefully 2025
- Supportive team consists of experienced hygienist, dental assistant, receptionist and practice manager
- Equipment includes rotary endo, surgical motor and digital x-rays
- Remuneration: 45% commission
About you:
- 5+ Years similar clinical experience
- Knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of general dentistry, including surgical extractions and endodontics
- Confident planning and discussing treatment plans with patients
- Comfortable being the sole practitioner
- Passionate about providing exceptional patient care
- Caring and empathetic
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
About the region: The main centre for the eastern Bay of Plenty, Whakatāne is one of the sunniest towns in
New Zealand. Whakatāne is also known for its fishing – more yellowfin tuna are caught here than anywhere else in the
country. Whakatane is also very close to Ōhope,
a 10km white sandy beach, which has a small settlement and is perfect for camping, surfing, walking and relaxing in the sun.
