About the practice and the role:

• Full time (32 hours per week)
• Hours 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Supported by experienced dentists, hygienist and practice manager 
• Equipment includes: digital x-rays, OPG, Cephlogram, CAD/CAM, and Laser
• Offering patients general, cosmetic and orthodontic treatment
• This role includes:
  • Prepare patients for treatments
  • Select and arrange instruments, equipment and materials required for procedures
  • Adhere to sterilisation protocols for instruments and surgery
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the surgery
• Remuneration: Market rate based on experience

About you:

• You could have dental assistant experience already or
• Maybe you're an overseas qualified dentist, but not registered in NZ
• Ability to communicate well with patients and team
• Approachable demeanor with a flexible, proactive and caring attitude
• Works well as part of a team

About the area: Alexandra is known as the hottest, driest and coldest town in New Zealand. On foot or on a mountain bike, you can follow gold miner’s trails in the hills to appreciate the unique beauty of the area. You can also visit Pinot Noir vineyards and discover gold mining history at the museum. In winter, go ice skating on Manorburn Dam with its 30 hectares of natural ice, and it's only 1.5 hours from the snowfields of Queenstown and Wanaka.
