Dental Receptionist - Central Auckland 4035126

This is a pivotal role where you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, helping to create a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door. You’ll coordinate appointments, manage patient enquiries, and keep the day running smoothly for both patients and clinicians.

About the practice and the role:

• Full time Monday - Friday
• Well established modern practice
• Supportive and friendly team environment 
• Convenient location just off Kyber Pass Road
• Key responsibilities include:
  • Welcoming patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
    
  • Managing appointments, recalls, and patient flow
    
  • Answering phone calls and responding to emails
    
  • Processing payments, invoicing, and handling ACC and Insurance claims
    
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and files
    
  • Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks
    
  • Keeping reception and waiting areas tidy and well-presented
    
• Remuneration: Market rate depending on experience + free on-site parking

About you:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or front-facing administrative role (dental experience a bonus)
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
  
• Confidence using computer systems (EXACT experience an advantage)
  
• A calm, positive approach and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  
• A genuine desire to help people feel comfortable and cared for
