Dental Assistant - Panmure, Auckland

About the practice and the role:

• Well established, modern, busy 2 chair practice
• Full time, 4 days a weeek (Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri), 8.30am - 5pm
• Start date: 5 October 2026
  
• Offering patients general, emergency and cosmetic treatments including hygiene, perio, crown and bridge, endo, implants, veneers, wisdom teeth and whitening
• This is an experienced team of senior dentist and support staff, with a great team culture
• This role includes:
  • Prepare patients for treatments
  • Select and arrange instruments, equipment and materials required for procedures
  • Adhere to sterilisation protocols for instruments and surgery
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the surgery
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance 
  • Cover for reception when required
• Huge loyal patient base
• Remuneration: market rate dependent on experience
• This is a long term role

About you:

• Minimum 12 months of dental assistant experience in New Zealand/Australia, but would prefer more
• Comfortable and proficient in all general DA duties
• Knowledgeable of patient treatment plans
• Passionate about providing exceptional patient care
• Approachable demeanor with a flexible and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoys working as part of a friendly and collaborative team
