About the practice and the role:

• Full time (Monday - Friday)
• Well established Auckland City general and cosmetic practice
• Very experienced and supportive team of dentists and hygienist/oral health therapists, dental assistants and practice manager
• General chairside assistant duties include
  • Sterilising instruments and surgeries
  • Chairside assisting, including surgical procedures
  • Infection prevention and control
  • Stock control
  • Equipment cleaning and maintenance
• Remuneration: Competitive salary based on experience, plus discounted dental care and car parking

About you:

• 2+ Years of similar dental assistant role in busy practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborate with the dental team
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of the dental practice
• Training and experience in dental assisting
• Experience in using dental software EXACT
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant qualifications or certification in Dental Assisting (desirable)
• Long term commitment
• The legal right to work in New Zealand
