Dental Receptionist- Wellington

This private general dental practice is searching for an experienced dental receptionist to join them. 

About the practice and role:

• Full time - up to 45 hours per week Monday to Sunday (rostered shifts cover early starts, late finishes and weekends)
• Multi chair general dental practice
• Experienced team of dentists, hygienists/oral health therapist, dental assistants, receptionists, and practice managers
• Well established and constantly growing practice
• Modern equipment and facilities
• Full training will be provided for the right candidate
• Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Welcoming patients in person, phone or email
  • Resolving queries and concerns
  • Managing appointment book
  • Administrative support of all staff
  • Patient invoices
  • Taking payments
  • Understanding ACC, WINZ, MOH dental subsidies
  • Chairside assistance cover when required
• Remuneration: Market rate based on experience 

About you:

• Minimum 2 years previous dental experience (dental assistant or receptionist)
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Exact practice management software
• Responsible for setting priorities for DA tasks
• Love being busy
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Enjoys being part of a collaborative team
• Professional presentation and attitude
• Able to multitask and prioritise tasks
• Calm and supportive with anxious patients
• Reliable, punctual and friendly, as well as organised and attention to detail
